Journaling Workshop: Navigating Parental Loss

from £15.00

Workshop Overview:

No matter what age you are, having your parent/s die is hard. You might have been a child, young adult, adult or even a parent yourself, but there is no ‘easy’ age to love and lose someone like your parents. As a bereaved daughter myself, I understand the nuanced layers to navigating parental loss and how much it can rock your entire world.

To me, the transformational adventure of meeting and connecting with others that share very similar experiences to you is sometimes the life-line we did or didn’t know we needed. Community has and will always be in my grief toolkit and is now part of over the 250+ attendees I’ve had come through The Grief Gang doors.

Together, we’ll create a space to honour our feelings of parental loss and find a sense of comfort and belonging. Please note, it is not mandatory that you speak or share during the workshop, but it is encouraged for you to experience the full benefit.

This workshop is open to anyone who has experienced the death of a parent or both parents. Open to all grievers across the globe should the timings work for you!

Led by Mentor Amber Jeffrey, this 1hr30min online workshop will guide you through a short breath-work exercise, reflective journal prompts on parental loss and moments for sharing and support.
